Drum Major Aaron Marks

Aaron Marks is originally from Fond du Lac, Wisconsin where he graduated from Fond du Lac High School in 2006 and served as Drum Major of the Marching Cardinals. He is a second year student at the University of Minnesota studying Music Education and Psychology.

Before being selected as Drum Major, Aaron played the mellophone in the Marching Band and the Women’s Athletic Band, and was selected as the 2006 Male Rookie of the Year and a 2007 recipient of the Michael M. Jalma Band Alumni Scholarship. Aaron has been active as a member of the leadership team, the Kappa Alpha chapter of Kappa Kappa Psi, and as a Student Director of Women’s Athletic Band. He is also a member of a local church choir and a first-year guided intern in the Learning Through Music project with the Music-in-Education National Consortium.
