2008 Feature Twirler
Britney Dancs, from Greenfield, WI has been selected as the new feature twirler for the University of Minnesota Marching Band. Dancs will make her debut with the Pride of Minnesota in the fall of 2008. She plans on pursuing a degree in nutrition and dietetics from the College of Food, Agriculture and Natural Sciences.
Britney has been twirling competitively and performing across the nation since she was 5 years old. She is currently Miss Majorette of Wisconsin and holds the state titles in multiple events. This past summer Dancs competed in the Junior Olympics in Knoxville, TN and brought home 6 gold medals.
Britney will be graduating from Whitnall High School in Greenfield, WI where she has been the feature twirler, drum major for the marching band, member of the National Honor Society, DECA, chorus, concert band and the indoor winter drumline.
Britney is looking forward to becoming a Golden Gopher and is anxious to be a part of the Pride of Minnesota, University of Minnesota Marching Band.
